Workers Comp Defense Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a Workers Comp Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defending clients in workers' compensation cases, with a primary focus on achieving positive outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and trials.
- Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and appeals.
- Advise clients on legal matters related to workers' compensation.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law.
- Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- 1 year of experience in workers' compensation defense.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- This will be a fully in person position
